These uniforms are a high-quality, strong and durable, premium, single weave keikogi (training uniform) made with the more committed, long-term student in mind and are specifically designed for Aikido training. They are custom made for Aiki Kai Australia and follow the Japanese style and cut, which is wider and longer in the body, with shorter sleeves than a Judogi. Available in sizes 2 - 6. This is a special weave cloth, fabricated to be tighter and firmer than our standard version to take a lot more strain, but without bulk. They have been pre-shrunk however some shrinkage will continue to occur within the first seven washes.

The pants come with side and centre loops, the padding runs from centre thigh to the ankle. This means your knees won't rub on the padding seam when doing kneeling techniques, which can happen with standard Judo pants.
White belt is included.

Note: These keikogi are made from fine cotton and have a shrinkage rate of about 2%, they always appear oversize when new. Therefore, the sizing for these uniforms is different from other uniform models on this site because this model does not shrink to the same degree. Be sure not to hot wash a new dogi as they may shrink unduly, allow them to shrink naturally after a couple of cold washes first.
